Welcome Baby Ronan | Hospital Documentary Session

May 23, 2019 Welcome Baby Ronan | Hospital Documentary Session

Every blog post I do featuring Jeana ends up being an ode to Jeana. As a matter of fact, let’s do a quick recap here:

The first time Jeana was in front of my camera (for something other than test shots), Matt and Jeana’s engagement session, their wedding with what was essentially my maid of honor speech in text form on it, and for funsies some behind the scenes photos of us over the years.

Now that that’s out of the way – I couldn’t be more excited to share the photos today. This wasn’t exactly what we had planned. I was supposed to actually be there for the birth. Since Jeana was being induced, it seemed very likely that we could make that happen. I got a text from Jeana saying that things were moving slowly after being on call all day, and decided to get some sleep. And then all of a sudden things moved so quickly that within 45 minutes they went from 1cm dilated to a baby in their arms. Since things moved so fast that not only did I miss the birth – but so did their doula (!!) instead I came by the hospital in time for their family to meet the first of a new generation. Baby Ronan – you are so, so loved already.

I’m so happy you were able to come!!! We should’ve known from how quickly he arrived that Ronan would never want to stop moving. Four months in and he’s rolling, half crawling, and demanding to be walked around all the time. 😂

So beautiful!! Every. Single. Picture! Jeana you look so natural in your new roll as mommy <3 I love the t-shirts!! Ronan may have thrown everyone off with his quick arrival… but I think everyone will agree that these images capture just how excited everyone is to welcome the newest member of the family. You can see and feel how loved he is already. Congratulations Jeana & Matt!!
