This is such a fun one for me. My husband actually photographed Hannah and Ryan’s wedding and when they were looking for a birth photographer, they came across my site and were thrilled to find out that I do this type of work! We did their maternity shoot this winter so we could get to know each other a bit before I would join them for their home birth of baby Ruby. Since they live so close by, we actually did this shoot at the woods where Jonathan and I were married! It’s such an incredible place to have so close to home and Ryan and Hannah love this park system as well.
When it was time for the birth, baby Ruby had her own plans… she came a few weeks early and was born in the hospital, not at home. So rather than photographing the birth, we did an in-home newborn session instead and it was wonderful. I loved getting to be a part of this milestone for these two and can’t wait to see what life brings this sweet family over the years!
