I’ve been very behind on blogging my documentary family work (years behind, oops) lately… but not for a lack of interest! Documentary family photography remains the place my heart is happiest.
Tonight’s session with the H family was the epitome of everything I love about photographing families – loving, fun, and most importantly: embracing the messy chaos that is life with children. In that chaos is the best part. The beauty and love in the ordinary.
I will forever be thankful that through my camera I get to capture a little slice of time, fleeting and special and worthy of capturing.
