I’ve known Kelly for almost half of her life. She’s my best friend’s sister, and I’ve known her for the last 15 years, which is insane to think about! We’ve been a part of each other’s lives for so long, it feels like we are family. Also, I had the honor of photographing her wedding to Joshua, almost 6 years ago!
Originally I was supposed to photograph the twins’ birth, but they ended up coming while I was in Hawaii in Feb 2020… So then the plan turned into a baby session later on – which then got delayed due to the covid lockdown. Then they bought a new house, needed to remodel the house, and life just kept happening. Now, over two years later, we finally were able to make this session happen! I loved finally getting to meet the twins. It’s wild, Jameson looks JUST like his cousin (my “nephew”) Ethan did at that age, and often acts like him too! Our session was cut short due to an accident (poor Deacon!) but I went back a few nights later and we were able to finish up. As soon as I walked in the door, the boys grabbed me by the hand and took me to their playroom! I love this little family and I love seeing Kelly and Joshua as parents. Here are just some of my favorites.
